Suggested nameSutsuhya
Planet typeWarm planet
This warm planet is named after the deity Sutsuhya, the demon of fear.

Two spacecraft have visited Sutsuhya: Daedalus 5 flew by 51 years ago; and Messenger, launched 11 years ago, orbited Sutsuhya over 120 times in four years before exhausting its pwoer source and crashing into the planet's atmosphere 11 years later.

There are ongoing investigations assessing the future terraforming potential of Sutsuhya, as well as the possibility of extant life.

The unfriendly surface is crawling with friendly primordial oceanic creatures that survive by killing smaller pray if the weather permits it. Kyachu Nya are related to Keyo Gago but have fur and vary in length from 5 to 9 cm. Most Kyachu Nya can live at temperatures from -80 to -50°C but are killed by drought which is common on this planet.
