Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Dawadu |
Planet type | Cold gas giant |
It is named after the deity Dawadu, the creator of the sea.
Dawadu is gravitationally locked with Kepler-55 in a 2:1 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system.
It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on.
Dawadu can easily be seen from Mixen with the naked eye, as can its grayish coloring. |
