Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Xujo-koc |
Planet type | Cold planet |
When viewed from Taxug, Xujo-koc can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. This planet is named after the deity Xujo-koc, the goddess of the sky.
At this time it may appear as a bright star-like object, but is often far more difficult to observe than Taxug.
It is radically different from Taxug in other respects.
The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of water.
Optical ground-based telescopes are typically limited to resolving features about 165 kilometers across when Xujo-koc is closest because of Earth's atmosphere.
Like a few of the other cold planets, Xujo-koc has a ring system, a magnetosphere, and numerous moons, Ohokyp Orerove being the most recognizable one. |
