Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Lyrodicres |
Planet type | Cold planet |
For this reason, scientists often classify Lyrodicres and Julcyl Per as "cold planets" to distinguish them from the other planets. This cold planet is named after the deity Lyrodicres, the god of the sky.
The atmospheric pressure at the planet's surface is 0.1 bar, or roughly the pressure found 585 m under the oceans of Julcyl Per. The 2H2O has probably photodissociated, and the free ozone has been swept into interplanetary space by the solar wind because of the lack of a planetary magnetic field.
As the closest planet to Julcyl Per, Lyrodicres has been a prime target for early extra solar exploration.
The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries. |
