Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Eshikyu Pyugo |
Planet type | Cold planet |
As seen from Kepler-546, in a frame of reference that rotates with the orbital motion, it appears to rotate only once every two years.
Having almost no atmosphere to retain heat, it has surface temperatures that vary diurnally more than on any other planet in its solar system, ranging from 100°K (-173°C) at night to 700°K (427°C) during the day across the equatorial regions.
It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on.
The cruel lakes are crowded with strange and poisonous plants called the "Nriyu-byumi". They feed while devouring the Piape Pabupya plant Nriyu-byumi are related to Kyopa-hyochi but have 5 eyes and vary in size from 80 to 160 cm. The Nriyu-byumi are known to endure temperatures from 130 to 220°C and even a limited degree of radiation. |
