Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Anab'y |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Anab'y is the strangest and most crater filled planet in its solar system.
Anab'y is the closest planet to Kepler-531 and one of the largest in its solar system. Anab'y is similar in composition to Usuf'i, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger cold planets. This planet is named after the deity Anab'y, the demon of nature.
Anab'y is gravitationally locked with Kepler-531 in a 4:3 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system.
Having almost no atmosphere to retain heat, it has surface temperatures that vary diurnally more than on any other planet in its solar system, ranging from 85°K (-188°C) at night to 455°K (182°C) during the day across the equatorial regions.
Anab'y is a cold planet and is sometimes called Earth's "sister planet" because of their similar size, mass, proximity to Kepler-531, and bulk composition.
The oceans are dangerous because of the friendly but shy but interesting oceanic life called the "Nirosahe". They spend their life there by hunting smaller pray. Nirosahe are somewhat related to Noze Gezy-ni but with 8 legs and vary in size from 17 to 36 cm. Nirosahe are known to thrive at temperatures from 20 to 110°C and even prolonged periods without food which is common on this planet. |
