Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Athatur Thige |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
Its orbital period around Kepler-52 of 16 earth days is the shortest of all the planets in its solar system.
The planet is named after the deity Athatur Thige, the bringer of prosperity.
An observer on Athatur Thige would therefore see only one sunrise every three years.
The volume of water ice in the south polar ice cap, if melted, would be sufficient to cover the entire planetary surface to a depth of 11 meters.
In 2780, images from Wayfinder 9 showed Athatur Thige as an almost featureless planet in visible light, without the cloud bands or storms associated with the other huge cold gas giants. |
