Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Gapu-nyu |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It is named after the deity Gapu-nyu, the bringer of hate.
The ozone has probably photodissociated, and the free nitrogen has been swept into interplanetary space by the solar wind because of the lack of a helium layer.
As one of the brightest objects in the sky, Gapu-nyu has been a major fixture in native folklore for as long as records have existed.
In November 3300, NASA reported finding a large amount of underground ice in the Utopia Planitia region of Gapu-nyu.
Gapu-nyu can easily be seen from Peka with the naked eye, as can its brownish coloring. |
