Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Anim |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It has the longest rotation period (445 days) of any planet in its solar system and rotates in the opposite direction to most other planets.
Anim is similar in composition to Enizy, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger cold planets. This cold planet is named after the deity Anim, the demon of war.
An observer on Anim would therefore see only one winter every four years.
Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Anim 1800 and ExoAnim rovers.
Its apparent magnitude reaches -3, which is surpassed only by Enizy, Apip-ezi, and Kepler-477.
The latest probe to visit the planet is Pioneer, which entered into orbit around Anim after a challenging journey.
The Anim system has a unique configuration among those of the planets because its axis of rotation is tilted sideways, nearly into the plane of its solar orbit. |
