Suggested nameMegir'tusorix
Planet typeCold planet
It is named after the deity Megir'tusorix, the creator of good fortune.

Megir'tusorix is gravitationally locked with Kepler-474 in a 5:4 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system.

Megir'tusorix's surface is a arid desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.

The smooth Borealis basin in the northern hemisphere covers 27 percent of the planet and may be a giant impact feature.

The volume of water detected has been estimated to be equivalent to the volume of water in Lake Superior.

Megir'tusorix can easily be seen from Lyda Aethee with the naked eye, as can its brownish coloring.
