Suggested nameNedra Pro
Planet typeCold planet
This planet is named after the deity Nedra Pro, the spirit of prosperity.

As seen relative to the fixed stars, it rotates on its axis exactly five times for every five revolutions it makes around Kepler-459.

It is radically different from Earth in other respects.

There are ongoing investigations assessing the past habitability potential of Nedra Pro, as well as the possibility of extant life. Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Nedra Pro due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 9 percent of Edelade's, except at the highest elevations for short periods. The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of methane ice.

Nedra Pro can easily be seen from Edelade with the naked eye, as can its blueish coloring. Its apparent magnitude reaches -3, which is surpassed only by Edelade, Deslade, and Kepler-459.

Surrounding Nedra Pro is a irregular planetary ring system and a powerful magnetosphere.

The Nedra Pro system has a unique configuration among those of the planets because its axis of rotation is tilted sideways, nearly into the plane of its solar orbit.
