Suggested name | Xanc-weng |
Planet type | Warm planet |
Xanc-weng's atmosphere is similar to Deng-zyo's in its primary composition of molecular hydrogen and nitric oxide, but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. This warm planet is named after the deity Xanc-weng, the demon of destruction.
When viewed from Deng-zyo, this proximity to Kepler-454 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.
As the closest planet to Deng-zyo, Xanc-weng has been a prime target for early extra solar exploration. It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on. |
