Suggested name | Naqbelene |
Planet type | Hot planet |
This hot planet is named after the deity Naqbelene, the goddess of war.
The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Naqbelene are likewise similar to those of Earth, as is the tilt that produces the seasons.
The volume of water ice in the south polar ice cap, if melted, would be sufficient to cover the entire planetary surface to a depth of 8 meters.
In late February 2700, Naqbelene was visited by the New Horizons probe, which used Naqbelene's gravity to increase its speed and bend its trajectory en route to Metiatar. |
