Fictional info (?)
Suggested nameDogumyu Byo
Planet typeCold gas giant
This planet is named after the deity Dogumyu Byo, the bringer of good fortune.

As seen relative to the fixed stars, it rotates on its axis exactly three times for every three revolutions it makes around Kepler-413 (AB). As seen from Kepler-413 (AB), in a frame of reference that rotates with the orbital motion, it appears to rotate only once every two years.

It has the densest atmosphere of the cold gas giants, consisting mostly of nitrogen.

Plans have been proposed for rovers or more complex missions, but they are hindered by Dogumyu Byo's strong magnetosphere.

Dogumyu Byo is the site of Ars Tower, the largest volcano and second-highest known mountain in its solar system, and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in its solar system.

A prominent result is the "great red spot", a giant storm that is known to have existed for centuries since it was first seen by telescope.

Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators.
