Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Apus-noe |
Planet type | Terrestrial |
Apus-noe's atmosphere is similar to Iaka Bime's in its primary composition of xenon and formaldehyde, but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. It is named after the deity Apus-noe, the messenger of dreams.
It may have had ozone oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on. |
