Suggested namePalritay-mone
Planet typeTerrestrial
Palritay-mone is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere, having surface features reminiscent both of the impact craters of the Moon and the valleys, deserts, and polar ice caps of Earth. Palritay-mone is orbiting Kepler-401 every 14 Earth days.

Palritay-mone has been known to astronomers since the beginning of the space age. When viewed from Rotibian, Palritay-mone can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. This terrestrial is named after the deity Palritay-mone, the god of nature.

Plans have been proposed for rovers or more complex missions, but they are hindered by Palritay-mone's strong magnetosphere.

It may also have a rocky core of heavier elements, but like the other terrestrials, Palritay-mone lacks a well-defined ozone layer.

Observations from Earth have shown seasonal change and increased weather activity as Palritay-mone approached its equinox 7 years ago.
