Suggested name | Waidyouw |
Planet type | Terrestrial |
Waidyouw is the fourth planet from Kepler-393 and the second-smallest planet in its solar system.
Waidyouw has been known to astronomers since the medieval. The interior of Waidyouw is mainly composed of ices and stone. This planet is named after the deity Waidyouw, the bringer of chaos.
When viewed from Engwyou-n, this proximity to Kepler-393 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.
The smooth Borealis basin in the northern hemisphere covers 13 percent of the planet and may be a giant impact feature.
Its apparent magnitude reaches -3, which is surpassed only by Engwyou-n, Qang, and Kepler-393. |
