Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Aeda Qeqhi-el |
Planet type | Hot planet |
It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in its solar system, with a minimum temperature of 53°K (-220°C), and has a complex, layered cloud structure with carbon dioxide thought to make up the lowest clouds, and oxygen the uppermost layer of clouds. It is named after the deity Aeda Qeqhi-el, the demon of prosperity.
When viewed from Kaanhaskoll, this proximity to Kepler-380 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.
It may have had water oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
One of this planet's pleasant moons is crowded with dangerous but primitive insects known to spend their life hidden in craters while finding nourishment in something called Euanpa if they can. The Thearir Lishy are somewhat similar to the Koapus Ras but have 7 eyes and vary in size from 19 to 36 meters. Most Thearir Lishy are known to live at temperatures from 70 to 130°C but are killed by near-vacuum. |
