Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Aoly |
Planet type | Planet |
This planet is named after the deity Aoly, the demon of hate.
Having almost no atmosphere to retain heat, it has surface temperatures that vary diurnally more than on any other planet in its solar system, ranging from 145°K (-128°C) at night to 385°K (112°C) during the day across the equatorial regions.
Aoly can easily be seen from Aralia with the naked eye, as can its blueish coloring.
Future targets for exploration in the Aoly system include the probable ice-covered liquid ocean of its moon Fercho Ka. |
