Suggested nameTimemir Na
Planet typeWarm planet
This planet is named after the deity Timemir Na, the messenger of the sky.

Two spacecraft have visited Timemir Na: Frontier 3 flew by 32 years ago; and Messenger, launched 23 years ago, orbited Timemir Na over 115 times in four years before exhausting its plasma drive and crashing into the planet's surface 11 years later.

Timemir Na's surface is a barren desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.

As one of the most prominent objects in the sky, Timemir Na has been a major influence in native culture for as long as records have existed.

The volume of water ice in the south polar ice cap, if melted, would be sufficient to cover the entire planetary surface to a depth of 19 meters.
