Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Ronhionn |
Planet type | Hot planet |
The planet is named after the deity Ronhionn, the spirit of nature.
When viewed from Bebsete-lene, this proximity to Kepler-341 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning. The planet telescopically displays the complete range of phases, similar to Venus and the Moon, as it moves in its inner orbit relative to Kepler-341, which reoccurs over the so-called synodic period approximately every 168 days.
Ronhionn is by far the hottest planet in its solar system, with a mean surface temperature of 566°K (293°C). Ronhionn's surface is a barren desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.
The volume of water ice in the south polar ice cap, if melted, would be sufficient to cover the entire planetary surface to a depth of 7 meters.
Its apparent magnitude reaches -3, which is surpassed only by Bebsete-lene, Nandpe Mip, and Kepler-341.
Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators. |
