Suggested nameDatocal
Planet typeWarm planet
Its orbital period around Kepler-332 of 7.6 earth days is the shortest of all the planets in its solar system.

Datocal has been known to astronomers since the medieval. This warm planet is named after the deity Datocal, the god of the underworld.

When viewed from Percahyr-hali, this proximity to Kepler-332 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.

Datocal's surface appears quite bruised and is similar in appearance to the Moon's, indicating that it has been geologically inactive for billions of years.

Datocal is by far the hottest planet in its solar system, with a mean surface temperature of 392°K (119°C).

Its apparent magnitude reaches -3, which is surpassed only by Percahyr-hali, Sithel, and Kepler-332.

Like a few of the other warm planets, Datocal has a ring system, a magnetosphere, and numerous moons, Tonceka Heophe being the most recognizable one. Observations from Earth have shown seasonal change and increased weather activity as Datocal approached its equinox 6 years ago.
