Suggested name | Hicres Aramoon |
Planet type | Terrestrial |
Hicres Aramoon has been known to astronomers since the beginning of the space age. Hicres Aramoon is similar in composition to Moon Aoar, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger terrestrials. The planet is named after the deity Hicres Aramoon, the spirit of fear.
Hicres Aramoon is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light.
The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Hicres Aramoon are likewise similar to those of Moon Aoar, as is the tilt that produces the seasons.
Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Hicres Aramoon due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 6 percent of Moon Aoar's, except at the highest elevations for limited periods.
The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries. |
