Suggested name | Ularu-zok |
Planet type | Terrestrial |
Ularu-zok is the largest and most crater filled planet in its solar system.
It is named after the deity Ularu-zok, the messenger of the underworld.
The polar regions are constantly below 108°K (-165°C).
Ularu-zok is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light.
Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Ularu-zok 1500 and ExoUlaru-zok rovers.
Ularu-zok is primarily composed of oxygen with a significant part of its mass being methane, though methane comprises only about a limited fraction of the number of molecules.
The surface of this pleasant planet is inhabitated by unpredictable and interesting bacteria, the "Rehi-qyju", that spend their life close to volcanos by eating something called Ehap that lives there. They are related to the Gebe but have 7 arms and vary in size from 60 to 90 mm. They are able to withstand temperatures from 30 to 60°C and ultra violet light. |
