| Orbiting within Jamya Myo's orbit, Nomyo is an inferior planet and never appears to venture far from Kepler-320; its maximum angular distance from Kepler-320 (elongation) is 58 degrees.
Nomyo has been known to astronomers since the medieval. For this reason, scientists often classify Nomyo and Jamya Myo as "terrestrials" to distinguish them from the other planets. The planet is named after the deity Nomyo, the god of good fortune.
The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of frozen gas.
Its apparent magnitude reaches -3, which is surpassed only by Jamya Myo, Erya Fu, and Kepler-320.
The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries.
The arid lakes are entirely crowded with harmless primordial plants, the "Gerizete Nya", which spend their life by hunting a substance called "Kemomya" if they need to. Most of them are related to Pika Mabe Pyu but have wings and vary in length from 40 to 50 cm. The Gerizete Nya are known to survive temperatures from 0 to 80°C and electrical shock which is common on this planet. |
