Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Mipubyu |
Planet type | Small cold gas planet |
The planet is named after the deity Mipubyu, the bringer of the underworld.
Two spacecraft have visited Mipubyu: Wayfinder 5 flew by 53 years ago; and Messenger, launched 26 years ago, orbited Mipubyu over 150 times in four years before exhausting its reactor and crashing into the planet's atmosphere 9 years later.
The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of rock.
The surface of this planet is entirely full of hostile and primitive bacteria called the "Bepikeda-gyu". They survive by hunting a substance called "Shisu Yabyu Sa" if it is available. They are believed to be somewhat related to the Pumyuto Ta, have scales and vary in size from 50 to 60 mm. The Bepikeda-gyu can thrive at temperatures from -40 to -20°C and sometimes even a limited degree of radiation. |
