Suggested nameBepune Ke
Planet typeTerrestrial
This terrestrial is named after the deity Bepune Ke, the creator of good fortune.

Two spacecraft have visited Bepune Ke: Daedalus 6 flew by 20 years ago; and Messenger, launched 11 years ago, orbited Bepune Ke over 170 times in four years before exhausting its reactor and crashing into the planet's surface 11 years later.

Bepune Ke can easily be seen from Jomyo'bya with the naked eye, as can its grayish coloring.

Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators.

This lovely place is dangerous because of the strange ultra advanced insects, the "Sakyu Ginyu", which survive hidden in craters while finding nourishment in the Kyae Ko plant if the weather permits it. Sakyu Ginyu are related to Pehyube, have 6 eyes and vary in size from 27 to 33 cm. Sakyu Ginyu are known to thrive at temperatures from -70 to -40°C and even predators attacking.
