Suggested name | Jisa Byapyu |
Planet type | Hot planet |
Jisa Byapyu and Kyaya Zanyu Ke are hot planets rich in gas. This hot planet is named after the deity Jisa Byapyu, the creator of chaos.
Jisa Byapyu's surface is a dry desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.
Jisa Byapyu was one of the first planets to have its motions plotted across the sky - as early as the second millennium BC.
As the closest planet to Kyaya Zanyu Ke, Jisa Byapyu has been a prime target for early interplanetary exploration. It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on.
Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Jisa Byapyu due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 3 percent of Earth's, except at the lowest elevations for short periods.
The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries. |
