Suggested name | Juldei-euuq |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Its orbital period around Kepler-296 of 63 earth days is the shortest of all the planets in its solar system.
It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in its solar system, with a minimum temperature of 55°K (-218°C), and has a complex, layered cloud structure with carbon dioxide thought to make up the lowest clouds, and oxygen the uppermost layer of clouds. This planet is named after the deity Juldei-euuq, the spirit of chaos.
Juldei-euuq's surface is a barren desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.
The largest moon, Idiforn Thekal, has a diameter greater than that of the planet Neptune.
Juldei-euuq has been explored on several occasions by robotic spacecraft, most notably during the early Pioneer and Wayfinder flyby missions and later by the Hotchins orbiter. The latest probe to visit the planet is Pointer, which entered into orbit around Juldei-euuq after a challenging trip.
The inhospitable oceans are crawling with odd yet poisonous carnivores known as "Naqhionn". They feed in deep valleys by eating something called Garet'tar during the day. Most Naqhionn are similar to the Apus, have 2 eyes and vary in length from 70 to 140 cm. Most Naqhionn can withstand temperatures from -70 to -50°C and extreme gravity which is common on Juldei-euuq. |
