Fetyja has been known to astronomers since the medieval. It is named after the deity Fetyja, the bringer of dreams.
Having almost no atmosphere to retain heat, it has surface temperatures that vary diurnally more than on any other planet in its solar system, ranging from 135°K (-138°C) at night to 700°K (427°C) during the day across the equatorial regions.
Fetyja is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light.
As one of the brightest objects in the sky, Fetyja has been a major influence in native culture for as long as records have existed.
The largest moon is populated by harmless and stone-age oceanic creatures called the "Evisur". They feed on the ground by devouring plants. They are not related to the Puso Na but with 8 arms and vary in size from 15 to 31 mm. They can live at temperatures from 60 to 100°C and the acidic environment which is rare on this planet. |
