Suggested name | Porron Nesomar |
Planet type | Hot planet |
It is a hot planet planet with a mass one-thousandth that of Kepler-291, but two-and-a-half times that of all the other planets in its solar system combined. The planet is named after the deity Porron Nesomar, the messenger of nature.
There are ongoing investigations assessing the future terraforming potential of Porron Nesomar, as well as the possibility of extant life. The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of ice.
Porron Nesomar is primarily composed of ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH) with a significant part of its mass being nitrogen, though nitrogen comprises only about a small fraction of the number of molecules.
The latest probe to visit the planet is Pioneer, which entered into orbit around Porron Nesomar after a challenging trip. |
