Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Hoevos |
Planet type | Hot planet |
It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after Hyrokbian, reaching an apparent magnitude of -5 - bright enough to cast shadows at night and, often, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.
Hoevos is the closest planet to Kepler-286 and one of the largest in its solar system. This planet is named after the deity Hoevos, the demon of good fortune.
It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on.
Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators. |
