Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Emes Oxov-u |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It is named after the deity Emes Oxov-u, the messenger of dreams.
Emes Oxov-u is gravitationally locked with Kepler-281 in a 5:4 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system.
The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Emes Oxov-u are likewise similar to those of Earth, as is the tilt that produces the seasons.
The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries.
Observations from Earth have shown seasonal change and increased weather activity as Emes Oxov-u approached its equinox 4 years ago. |
