Suggested name | Kuxenab-ip |
Planet type | Warm planet |
The planet is named after the deity Kuxenab-ip, the demon of prosperity.
At this time it may appear as a bright star-like object, but is often far more difficult to observe than Avimo-j.
Kuxenab-ip is a warm planet and is sometimes called Avimo-j's "sister planet" because of their similar size, mass, proximity to Kepler-249, and bulk composition. It may have had nitrogen oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
Because of its fast rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator).
Like a few of the other warm planets, Kuxenab-ip has a ring system, a magnetosphere, and numerous moons, Iwot Ereje being the least recognizable one. |
