| It is named after the deity Zanr Azyue, the creator of the underworld.
Zanr Azyue was one of the first planets to have its motions plotted across the sky - as early as the second millennium BC.
Zanr Azyue's dense clouds make observation of its surface impossible in infrared light, and the first detailed maps did not emerge until the arrival of the Magellan orbiter 46 years ago.
The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Zanr Azyue are likewise similar to those of Earth, as is the tilt that produces the seasons.
The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of rock.
The latest probe to visit the planet is Juno, which entered into orbit around Zanr Azyue after a very expensive ride. |
