Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Jobya |
Planet type | Terrestrial |
This planet is named after the deity Jobya, the goddess of chaos.
Jobya's thick clouds make observation of its surface impossible in infrared light, and the first detailed maps did not emerge until the arrival of the Magellan orbiter 48 years ago.
The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of water.
The inhospitable lakes are often crawling with odd ultra advanced herbivores, the "Rone-yo", that survive in the jungle by seeking the Yokohasu plant during the day. Most Rone-yo are somewhat similar to the Eworyobya but have 8 arms and vary in size from 10 to 19 cm. Most Rone-yo are able to survive temperatures from -40 to 0°C and to some degree prolonged periods without food. |
