Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Niko |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Its orbital period around Kepler-215 of 68 earth days is the longest of all the planets in its solar system.
This planet is named after the deity Niko, the god of chaos.
The smooth Borealis basin in the northern hemisphere covers 12 percent of the planet and may be a giant impact feature.
In late February 2500, Niko was visited by the New Horizons probe, which used Niko's gravity to increase its speed and bend its trajectory en route to Neru-fido-d.
One of this planet's nice moons is inhabitated by unreliable but interesting carnivores known as "Evin Evy". They spend their life in caves by eating another species called Azary-mi at night. Evin Evy are somewhat related to the Sezyly Deh but have scales and vary in length from 40 to 70 meters. The Evin Evy are able to endure temperatures from -60 to -20°C and sometimes the acidic environment which is common on this planet. |
