Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Dopoyu |
Planet type | Terrestrial |
It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in its solar system, with a minimum temperature of 68°K (-205°C), and has a complex, layered cloud structure with carbon dioxide thought to make up the lowest clouds, and sulfur dioxide the uppermost layer of clouds. This terrestrial is named after the deity Dopoyu, the messenger of prosperity.
As seen from Kepler-202, in a frame of reference that rotates with the orbital motion, it appears to rotate only once every two years.
Dopoyu's surface appears very scarred and is similar in appearance to the Moon's, indicating that it has been geologically inactive for billions of years.
It may have had nitrogen oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
The largest moon, Karyonwa-me, has a diameter greater than that of the planet Jupiter. |
