Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Kyun-c |
Planet type | Terrestrial |
Kyun-c is the fourth planet from Kepler-18 and the second-smallest planet in its solar system.
It is named after the deity Kyun-c, the bringer of nature.
It may have had methane oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
In November 2200, NASA reported finding a large amount of underground ice in the Utopia Planitia region of Kyun-c.
Kyun-c can easily be seen from Lwobwo'swan with the naked eye, as can its whiteish coloring.
The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries.
The surface is inhabitated by strange stone-age oceanic life called the "Wukyuan-ryou". They survive in the jungle while eating plants if it is available. Wukyuan-ryou are somewhat similar to the Aswan, have 4 eyes and vary in size from 50 to 80 mm. They are known to survive temperatures from -40 to 30°C and even very low gravity which is rare on this planet. |
