Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Riporie |
Planet type | Terrestrial |
Its orbital period around Kepler-184 of 20 earth days is the shortest of all the planets in its solar system.
The planet is named after the deity Riporie, the bringer of chaos.
The polar regions are constantly below 171°K (-102°C).
Plans have been proposed for rovers or more complex missions, but they are hindered by Riporie's hostile surface conditions.
There are ongoing investigations assessing the present habitability potential of Riporie, as well as the possibility of extant life.
One of this planet's dark moons is known for its hostile interesting plants known as "Theepan Saxa". They spend their life by seeking the Iaka Nomia plant. The Theepan Saxa are somewhat related to the Sotay-umpal'mede, have fur and vary in length from 5 to 11 cm. Theepan Saxa are able to endure temperatures from 140 to 230°C and to some degree drought which is common on Riporie. |
