Suggested nameMeforn
Planet typeWarm planet
The planet is named after the deity Meforn, the goddess of good fortune.

As seen relative to the fixed stars, it rotates on its axis exactly five times for every two revolutions it makes around Kepler-170.

The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of rock.

The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries.

The surface is occupied by strange and primordial oceanic creatures that feed only by killing plants. They are believed to be closely related to Puckthea-hionn and have 7 eyes and vary in size from 60 to 80 cm. The Ymirko-ebe are able to endure temperatures from -70 to -30°C and to some degree high atmospheric pressure which is common on this planet.
