Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Enme Ly |
Planet type | Terrestrial |
Enme Ly is the strangest and most round planet in its solar system. It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after Turdi, reaching an apparent magnitude of -5 - bright enough to cast shadows at night and, rarely, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.
This planet is named after the deity Enme Ly, the messenger of fear.
Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Enme Ly due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 8 percent of Earth's, except at the lowest elevations for short periods.
The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries. |
