Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Exagusu Re |
Planet type | Hot planet |
Exagusu Re is the fourth planet from Kepler-1688 and the second-smallest planet in its solar system.
This planet is named after the deity Exagusu Re, the demon of hate.
Exagusu Re is by far the hottest planet in its solar system, with a mean surface temperature of 631°K (358°C). It may have had carbonyl sulfide oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect. Exagusu Re's surface is a arid desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.
Exagusu Re was one of the first planets to have its motions plotted across the sky - as early as the second millennium BC. |
