Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Zesuho-ze |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Its orbital period around Kepler-1652 of 38 earth days is the longest of all the planets in its solar system.
When viewed from Gyoge Keyoi, Zesuho-ze can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. The planet is named after the deity Zesuho-ze, the spirit of fear.
As seen from Kepler-1652, in a frame of reference that rotates with the orbital motion, it appears to rotate only once every two years.
The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Zesuho-ze are likewise similar to those of Earth, as is the tilt that produces the seasons.
The volume of water detected has been estimated to be equivalent to the volume of water in Lake Superior.
It may also have a rocky core of heavier elements, but like the other cold planets, Zesuho-ze lacks a well-defined magnetic field. Surrounding Zesuho-ze is a thin planetary ring system and a powerful magnetosphere.
Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators. |
