Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Enew'iraqu |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It has the longest rotation period (445 days) of any planet in its solar system and rotates in the opposite direction to most other planets.
Enew'iraqu has been known to astronomers since the medieval. This planet is named after the deity Enew'iraqu, the bringer of the sky.
The polar regions are constantly below 162°K (-111°C).
It may have had water oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Enew'iraqu are likewise similar to those of Yfebas, as is the tilt that produces the seasons.
This sinister place is dangerous because of the aggressive yet medieval insects that feed alone by seeking anything they find if they can. They are somewhat related to Banupi but have 4 tentacles and vary in size from 23 to 33 mm. Most Kijeno-sari are known to thrive at temperatures from 90 to 160°C and intense weather which is common near the poles. |
