Suggested nameSitheus
Planet typeCold planet
Sitheus is similar in composition to Kalculo Lade, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger cold planets. The planet is named after the deity Sitheus, the god of prosperity.

As seen relative to the fixed stars, it rotates on its axis exactly three times for every five revolutions it makes around Kepler-1639.

Two spacecraft have visited Sitheus: Wayfinder 5 flew by 23 years ago; and Messenger, launched 13 years ago, orbited Sitheus over 75 times in four years before exhausting its pwoer source and crashing into the planet's atmosphere 4 years later.

Sitheus was one of the first planets to have its motions plotted across the sky - as early as the second millennium BC.

As the closest planet to Kalculo Lade, Sitheus has been a prime target for early interplanetary exploration.

Its apparent magnitude reaches -3, which is surpassed only by Kalculo Lade, Theusme-gaeon, and Kepler-1639.

Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators.
