Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Ahyopyu Nuji |
Planet type | Hot planet |
In English, Ahyopyu Nuji is often referred to as the "white planet" because the carbonyl sulfide prevalent on its surface gives it a scary white appearance that is unusual among the astronomical bodies visible to the naked eye. It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after Suwopo Shikyo, reaching an apparent magnitude of -5 - bright enough to cast shadows at night and, sometimes, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.
For this reason, scientists often classify Ahyopyu Nuji and Suwopo Shikyo as "hot planets" to distinguish them from the other planets. This hot planet is named after the deity Ahyopyu Nuji, the demon of good fortune.
As one of the most noticeable objects in the sky, Ahyopyu Nuji has been a major fixture in native folklore for as long as records have existed. |
