Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Pwozheng Ch |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It is a cold planet planet with a mass one-thousandth that of Kepler-1607, but two-and-a-half times that of all the other planets in its solar system combined. Pwozheng Ch has been known to astronomers since the beginning of the space age. It is named after the deity Pwozheng Ch, the god of war.
Pwozheng Ch is gravitationally locked with Kepler-1607 in a 2:1 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system.
As one of the most prominent objects in the sky, Pwozheng Ch has been a major inspiration in native folklore for as long as records have existed. It has been considered sacred by members of many religions, and has been a main inspiration for poets, calling it the "night star". |
