Suggested nameLiadil
Planet typeCold planet
It is a cold planet planet with a mass one-thousandth that of Kepler-1568, but two-and-a-half times that of all the other planets in its solar system combined. It is named after the deity Liadil, the goddess of hate.

Two spacecraft have visited Liadil: Frontier 10 flew by 23 years ago; and Messenger, launched 20 years ago, orbited Liadil over 110 times in four years before exhausting its fuel and crashing into the planet's atmosphere 9 years later.

Liadil is by far the hottest planet in its solar system, with a mean surface temperature of 392°K (119°C).

Liadil is the site of Titanic Mountain, the largest volcano and second-highest known mountain in its solar system, and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in its solar system.

A prominent result is the "great yellow spot", a giant storm that is known to have existed for centuries since it was first seen by telescope.

Liadil has been explored on several occasions by robotic spacecraft, most notably during the early Pioneer and Daedalus flyby missions and later by the Galileo orbiter.
