Suggested name | Lwangsyong |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Lwangsyong is the oldest planet known belonging to Kepler-1564 and one of the largest in its solar system. This cold planet is named after the deity Lwangsyong, the messenger of love and beauty.
When viewed from Earth, this proximity to Kepler-1564 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.
As one of the most prominent objects in the sky, Lwangsyong has been a major influence in native folklore for as long as records have existed.
Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Lwangsyong due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 3 percent of Ouch's, except at the lowest elevations for limited periods. |
